M128 Series

The M128 is used primarily in the agricultural industry to treat livestock water with sanitizers, disinfectants, nutrients and medications.The pump injects at a fixed rate of one ounce per gallon and is actuated by water flow. The pump is started with a signal sent from a dry contact water meter. Water meters that are wired to a house controller to tally water consumption are suited to start the M128 which has an internal signal splitter. Since the meter wires are tied into the M128, the pump will run for a fixed amount of time and precisely inject one ounce. The unit can deliver one ounce for water flow rates up to 3 ½ gallons per minute at pressures up to 100 psi. Most livestock operations have a pressure reducer in place to drop pressures to a manageable level at the drinker lines. If higher outputs are needed then injecting after the pressure reducer is an option. At pressures up to 25 psi, the low pressure model can accommodate 1 ounce per gallon up to 8.4 gallons per minute.

There are no field adjustments and the prime button is the only manual control in this user-friendly design. The pump is pre-set at the factory for the specific tube and water meter combination selected. The solution that is injected is not in contact with moving parts and runs through a food grade pump tube. There is no need for filters upstream to pull out grit, sand and debris and no need for back pressure valves. Service on the unit is simple with a periodic pump tube change and one piece check valve replacement at the injection point. A wide range of solutions can be metered such as supplements, medicines, vaccines, acid, disinfectants and hydrogen peroxide.
