pH Adjustment

In poultry growing facilities, accurately lowering pH levels has proven to aid in the digestion process due to the slower passage of feed through the intestinal tracks. Controlling pH assists in absorption of feed nutrients leading to improved feed conversion rates, meaning better weight gains. Operational costs can be reduced by properly managing the pH of the drinking water to ensure flock health.

Stenner’s peristaltic adjustable pump can be wired to a well pump pressure switch and metered accordingly for accurate chemical feed. For precise accuracy in chemical delivery the Stenner PCM system feeds accurate dosages based on water volume regardless of the system flow rate. The PCM package is comprised of a water meter, a fixed output pump and the PCM (Pump Control Module). The PCM system is often used at the individual grow out house or at a central “medicating” facility.
