Restaurants, fast food outlets, and commercial kitchens discharge grease, fats, and oils down drains causing problems such as clogged drains and plugged drain fields. A popular method to treat grease build-up is to introduce grease eating bacteria or enzymes into the drainage system which emulsifies the grease and renders it harmless.

The Stenner BDF peristaltic pump is designed to inject liquid enzymes or bacteria on a 24-hour or 7-day event schedule. The event schedule allows for proper injection rates at times when drain usage is light and the solution can do its job. Injection rates can also be programmed for every hour if desired.

Application sites include food processing facilities, restaurants and commercial kitchens.
