Legionella
Legionella is a bacterium that can form in water systems and is the cause of Legionnaires’ disease, a serious respiratory infection. Cooling towers, if not treated properly can become the source for spreading Legionella as the aerosol spray from towers can travel for several miles. The most common form of prevention is to inject a liquid biocide on a routine basis to disinfect the cooling tower water.
Our Customers Say…
“We have always seen excellent performance with using the Stenner Classic model to dose biocides to prevent Legionella in cooling towers and other high risk systems. We also use them to dose bio-dispersers and inhibitors for corrosion and incrustation.
At all times, Stenner pumps have offered reliable, constant and extremely precise dosing; which is appreciated and expected by all our clients in all their applications. The pumps require minimum maintenance even though they are installed in aggressive environments and at some times high temperatures (exposed to the sun)”

Stenner’s adjustable models can be set from 5 -100% of its rated capacity providing a wide range of outputs and accurate feeding. Stenner fixed rate models with set outputs are also available for use with biocide timers. Stenner also offers a programmable pump with a choice of a 24-hour or 7-day timer for stand alone metering.
For time saving installations, the tank system consisting of a metering pump and solution tank is shipped pre-assembled and easy to use.
